I would like to welcome everyone to the beginning of another exciting athletic school year at Lake Mary High School! As most of the State of Florida knows, Lake Mary High School is known for not only it’s great academic programs, but also for its championship athletic reputation.
I am proud to say that I have taught and coached at Lake Mary High School since the schools beginning in 1981. I am equally as proud to say I was inducted into the 2019 Lake Mary Athletic Boosters Hall of Fame which was its inaugural Class.
The Lake Mary Athletic Boosters is an organization comprised of dedicated Lake Mary parent volunteers that support all the sports teams. Its primary function is to provide first class athletic facilities, but it also supports the 46 sports teams with FHSAA State expenses, senior nights, scholarships and other special services.
Over the past 40 years the Lake Mary Athletic Boosters has raised millions of dollars creating a college type atmosphere by constructing a first-class synthetic turf field and rubberized track at Don T Reynolds Stadium, to providing the Lake Mary Girls Softball Program with the States finest girls softball field house, coaches office and press box. The athletic boosters has been responsible for purchasing weights for the weight room as well as lights for both the softball and baseball teams. The list goes on and on as the Lake Mary Athletic Boosters have had a hand in every athletic facility on campus.
